I’m agree about …
I’m agree about your comments, of course streetfight with more than 1 person, why area you going to the floor but could be a 1 on 1 streetfight, i’m almost sure 90% they’ll be down to the floor, FOR A STREETFIGHT YOU HAVE TO COVER KOWING HOW TO DEFEND STANDUP FIGHT AND IN A FLOOR FIGHT.

huh? ” …
huh? “groundfighting”? in the street that is the worst possible thing you can ever want to do, if you end up in the floor youre as good as dead, someone can come and stab you or worse. you must never go to the ground if you can help it in a real danger situation. its better to use stand up grappling like in judo.

Amen! Seriously, if …
Amen! Seriously, if you can get a good hit in first, or avoid being taken to the ground, then whats the point of the ground. Besides, though I’m a wrestler myself, I just don’t see the point of going to the ground in self-defense if you know how to avoid it. I think its easier to kick in the balls, or crane somebody, or joint lock along those lines.

Everyone must learn …
Everyone must learn groundfighting, but you really don’t want to go on the ground in a street fight. There may be more than one bad guy.
