Knowing all …
Knowing all techniques well, it becomes easy to combine in real combat without explicitely thinking about them. That’s true for any self defense sport.

I trained with Sifu …
I trained with Sifu Swift for 4 years. He’s the real deal when it comes to Traditional Wing Chun and the pure application of street tactical self defense. Granted, it comes down to what ultimately comes out of you in a clutch situation, but given this type of knowledge, the type of knowledge GM Swift can transmit, you’ve got an ace-up-the-sleeve when it comes down to go time!

GM Swift has had 4 …
GM Swift has had 4 Sifu’s, two of which were Wong Shun Leung & Simon Lau. Both of whom are deceased. The other two, Yip Ching & Yip Chun (Yip Man’s two sons) are still alive. I expect it won’t be long before these two are also no longer with us.

Simon should say …
Simon should say this after being on the receiving end of 15+ stikes within 2 to 3 seconds.
The title of GrandMaster is about respect of knowledge, which GM Swift is just one example of the embodiment of pure Wing Chun Knowledge.
Your choice of application will always be different, as it is with wing chun, but his application is a reflection of a higher understanding and a reflection of years of training.
You need not be dead to be a GrandMaster….just do well and do long.

Yes, he lives in Tampa, Fl. Grandmaster Swift has been teaching Wing Chun Kung Fu for over 35 years, 15 hours a day, 7 days a week. I don’t think there’s a martial artist in the U.S., maybe even the world that has put that much time in dedicating his life to this art.

most of this stuff would get you arrested if you used it in a real situation. Its all about using the least amount of force you can to deal with your attacker, too much force might lead to imprisonment for assault

Unless you’re being …
Unless you’re being attacked then? I sure am not gonna think about it in combat, punch to disable even if that means a quick kill for instance if you are surrounded or attacked by multiple opponents. Jail or not, rather jail then ending up dead or disabled!!!
