Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Self Defense

I made this video for a speech I had to do in school. We started having a little fun with it and threw in a few moves that may not be ideal on the street…flying arm bar…but other than that its all good for self defense.     Cool moves, but some of them are too advanced to be used in a street fight, I think.

    Pretty impressive, I like the ground moves with the attacker against the white belt. It shows valid moves for self-defense.

    Hmm…actually, with the exception of the flying armbar, just about all of this is advance white belt self defense…pretty basic.

    Not meant for fighting. Just basic self defense scenarios.

    It doesn’t matter …
    It doesn’t matter whether you fail or succeed with a flying armbar, point is your going to land your head on concrete and probably get hurt.

    if u practicing bjj …
    if u practicing bjj and your good,you cant do this moves vs another guy but if your good.bjj is the best martial-art when you maitrized it

    I think that all depends on the success of your initial grip. If your grip slips…then you bust your head…but looking at this guys flying armbar the grip was strong and he had pretty good control all the way. Of course, your opponent could slam you to ground if he reacts quick enough.
