Street Fighting Moves – The Top 7 Secrets of Street Fighting

Saturday, January 17th, 2009

By Charles Prosper

1.  There Is No Such Thing As A Dirty Fighter – There are no rules in a street fight.  You don’t know what the other person is capable of.  You must fight viciously and “unfairly” as though your life depended upon it.

2.  He Who Strikes First Wins -  When you strike first, you have momentum at your side.  Your opponent is not attacking, he is reacting.  He is in a defensive mode.  Once you attack first, you keep attacking until he is on the ground or unconscious.

3.  Front Kick The Shins Several Times -  If you are at a stand off, one of the best kicks to administer is a front kick, hard, very hard to the shins.  Why?  Because it is a low-line kick which is hard to be seen or stopped.  The shin contains numerous nerves which when hit will practically paralyze your assailant – no matter how big he is!

4.  Aim For The Eyes As A First Strike, Then Follow Up – He cannot fight what he cannot see.  An eye rake tiger claw from the top to the bottom over the eyes will temporarily blind him – (sometimes permanently if it is done forcefully enough), so make sure that you personal safety is threatened before you commit.

5.  After Your First Two Devastating Strikes – Continue Striking – You want to create a domino effect when you are in street combat.  When you strike first, they must be very destructive and devastating blows which will be hard to recover from.

6.  Avoid High Theatrical Kicks At All Costs – People who attempt street combat using high and aerial kicks watch way too much television.  When you take to the air, you become a flying target.  If you don’t land a round house kick to the face by being too close inside of the body of your opponent, your kick will be either ineffective – or worse yet – intercepted or caught by the other guy.  Now you are at his disposal, hopping on one leg while he can easily kick your only leg that is now supporting you on the ground either breaking it or knocking you hard to the concrete.

7.  When In Doubt – Bite! – Biting is the lost art of down and dirty street combat survival fighting.  You used to do it instinctively when you were a kid in elementary school.  Hell!  Use it now!  If an opponent gets you in a front bear hug and you growl into his ear, then bite it – hard – and don’t let go.  I guarantee that the shock value that you will create in him will cause a temporary state of panic – and no matter how big he is – you will scare the fight out of him.

Street Fighting Moves

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

It is of utmost importance that everyone know how to defend themselves. Street fighting moves are one of the most effective forms of non-lethal self defense readily available to anyone willing to learn them. To be completely honest, street fighting moves are not hard to learn. They’re not highly protected secrets passed down from the ancients. What they ARE – are brutal techniques that have been used to seriously harm attackers and defend those who only wanted to mind there own business. I’m not going to sit here and tell you that they have not been used by the bad guys either because anyone can learn them. In fact, quite a few of the techniques have actually been developed BY the bad guy. All we do is take these brutal tactics and use them for our own good!

Violent crime is everywhere – even in small towns. Our children are being harassed and attacked in school, and we can’t even walk into a store without being accosted by an aggressive panhandler. But we no longer have to live in fear because technology has given us some pretty impressive self defense techniques and weapons. We have available to us a miriad of tools and personal defense weapons. But what do we do when we find oureselves in a situation without our taser, stungun, or pepper spray? I’ll tell you – we let that training kick in and let our instincts guide us while we release some of those street fighting moves onto our attacker. We surprise him (or her) with one of those swift kicks or blows, and as he recovers from both shock and pain – WE RUN!!! Street fighting moves are not learned to destroy or kill, they’re learned to acquire us enough time to flee to safety or make enough noise for someone to come to our aid.

It’s very important to understand that this these self defense moves are not very hard to learn. There are hundreds of training manuals, ebooks, videos, and dvds – although not all of them are of an optimal quality. It is important that we look at the source as well as the product itself if we are to purchase an instructional fighting course that will be effective. Effectiveness is the most important quality that a training regimen may have – we’re learning this stuff not to show off to our friends, but to be ready if we are ever presented with a situation where an individual wished to do us harm!

Street fighting moves are not only an excellent mode of self defense, but also a great way to shed a few pounds. My hope is that we never have to use them on anyone, but if we don’t, the increased endurance, stamina, and health benefits will have been well worth it!
